Ben Franklin

Ben lived from 1706 until 1790.

He was a prolific inventor. Bifocals were one of his many inventions.

The first political cartoon in the United States was made by him.

He was very reluctant of the Revolutionary War.

He owned a few slaves, but later in life he was an avid abolitionist.

Ben was a free mason, author, printer, inventor, postmaster, statesman, diplomat, scientist, humorist, abolitionist and many more things things.
