1. There are 2 types of chimpanzees, the common and bonobo. They average about 3.8 feet tall and weigh from 75 to 130 pounds.
  2. In Africa, they live in communities of 15 to 120 members. Within theses communities, their are smaller groups of 6 or fewer that travel, feed and sleep together daily. This is called a fission-fusion society. There’s an alpha male and has a very complex hierarchy.
  3. The Wild Chimps of Guinea consume a, 3 % alcohol by volume, drink made from fermented palm sap.
